Chef Rodrigo Ceja has accumulated 20 years of culinary experience within the borders of Southern California.
Working alongside accomplished chefs and running kitchens of varying sizes, Chef Rodrigo started to gather skills and ideas that he ultimately knew would lead to his own journey:
Bigo's is a platform for Rodrigo’s ideas and dreams for culinary adventures. Building brick by brick, Rodrigo has been working to make his ideas and opportunities come to life. Bigo's started in an apartment with a kitchen counter and an idea: To host intimate multi-course dinners paired with beverages that become new adventures.
This idea became so popular that it earned its own nickname: “Casa de Bigo”
Rodrigo's vision is to use his hands, skills, and knowledge to create delicious food and have multiple outlets to express his love for cooking.
“It has always been my goal to own a restaurant where I can continue to cook and express myself through my food and cocktails.” - Rodrigo
La Guera's Tacos is a taco stand selling non traditional gourmet tacos.
La Guera's Tacos became an outlet when night markets became popular in the Los Angeles underground scene for (street vendors) needing a secure location to sell their vision and make an honest living.
Tacos have always been a part of Rodrigo's heritage as a Mexican American. While working in kitchens, Rodrigo would cook non traditional gourmet tacos with influences from all around the world, which became the inspiration for La Guera's Tacos.
